We are always on the look out for submissions from local artists, writers, musicians and photographers to feature on our site- we welcome work of almost every artistic medium, if your chosen medium is not listed below then please contact us and we can work something out!
Submissions for the website are ongoing- call outs for specific projects such as zines will be advertised on our social media along with their due dates for submissions.
Submission Guidelines
Please submit your work as an email attachment to ratbagsartsco@gmail.com along with a short bio, artist statement and any links to your online portfolio/Instagram that you would like us to include with your work.
Include content warnings on submissions that include possibly triggering content or themes.
Photography/Visual Art/Comics
Poetry
1-4 poems, indicate where each piece ends, Word Doc or PDF.
Prose/Personal essays
Up to 2500 words, can be made up of several short pieces or one longer piece, Word Doc or PDF.
Video
Up to 10 minutes, mp4 file format.
Music/Spoken word
Up to 10 minutes, mp3, AIFF or WAV file format, or soundcloud link.
